Birthday Party Packages
at the Aquarium

Come celebrate your child’s special day here in the wondrous underwater world of Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration!

Birthday Party Packages Include:

  • Admission to Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration - explore before or after your party!
  • 11/2 hours in a Private Learning Lab with a Birthday Party Host
  • Birthday party themes include: Sharks, Whales or Penguins
  • A Touch and Learn session with various sea creatures
  • An appearance by a costumed character
  • A personalized Ocean Theme Birthday Cake
  • Decorative tableware and utensils
  • A fun party favor for each child!

Costs

  • $325 for non-members up to 15 people
  • $300 for Members up to 15 people
  • $20 per person for each additional guest (up to 25 guests, maximum children and adults)

Details

  • Birthday parties are offered weekends 11:00am - 12:30pm or 1:30pm - 3:00pm
  • Birthday parties are available for children ages 4 to 13
  • For the safety of our animal: balloons, streamers and straws are not permitted.
  • Two supervising adults are required
  • Two weeks advance notice and payment in full is required at time of booking
  • Cancelation may be made up to 48 hours prior to scheduled time, requires 20% cancelation fee
  • We reserve the right to cancel/shorten a program or assess an additional fee for any group that exceeds our limit or in the event of late arrival.

Traveling Birthday Parties
Let Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration help you celebrate your child's birthday in the comfort of your home!

Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration provides three great traveling party packages for children ages 4-13.

Ocean Locomotion

  • Ages 4-6
  • Irresistible and educational hand puppets delight children in a skit designed to teach how marine animals move
  • A Touch and Learn session with various sea creatures

Explore The Shore

  • Ages 7-9
  • A simple activity that introduces plants and animals that inhabit the rocky shores of New England
  • A Touch and Learn session with various sea creatures

Amazing Sharks

  • Ages 10-13
  • Learn about the challenges facing these indestructible predators and discover why these boneless fishes are so well adapted for life in the sea
  • A Touch and Learn session with various sea creatures

Additional Information

  • Price: $195 (non-members) $180 (members)
  • Maximum number of children: 30
  • *Location: Your home or another location within a 75-mile radius of the Aquarium
  • Programs last one fun filled hour
